Hisham Yakub, BAS, MBA, CFA
Hisham spent the first six years of his business career focused on developing software tools for portfolio management. He progressed through a number of different roles across the industry and finished his pre-MBA career at CPP Investment Board. There he spent two years working as a Business Analyst focused on developing tools to measure the daily performance and cash position for the entire CPP portfolio.
Hisham graduated from York University in 2005 where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. He graduated with an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto in 2013. During his time at Rotman, Hisham was a student in the Value Investing class endowed by John Watson and also spent the summer of 2012 as an intern at Fairbank Investment Management Limited. He received the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2016.
Hisham joined Fairbank Investment Management Limited on a full-time basis after graduating from Rotman in 2013.
