J. Clive Curtis, BA, CFA
Portfolio Manager

Clive started his career at North American Life as an investment analyst in 1958. In 1970, he and two other executives created, Edgecombe, the mortgage banking and real estate arm of Nalaco. He then managed the takeover of Elliot and Page, a seasoned investment counsellor in 1980. In 1984, he joined John Watson to manage the US investments of Confederation Life. That led to his move to Atlanta to create a Watson-trained research department and a highly regarded mortgage and private placement bond operation. In 1994 he returned to Canada to join Moss Lawson, an investment manager/broker which, in 1998 was bought by HSBC. In 2001, he moved to Morrison Williams an institutional investment counsellor that successfully grew the pension business until 2008. The purchase of Morrison Williams by Aston Hill was his last move before joining Fairbank Investment Management in October 2014 as Portfolio Manager.

Clive holds an Honours BA (Business Administration) from the University of Western Ontario and received the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1966. 

Clive joined the firm in 2014.
