Andrew G. Watson, BA, CIM, FCSI
Portfolio Manager Andrew started his career in 1998 at RBC Dominion Securities as a trader on the mutual fund trading floor. It was his first job out of University. He left after one year taking a job at Mackenzie Financial in a sales marketing role working there for 3 years. In 2002, Andrew joined ScotiaMcLeod retail brokerage and worked there until the summer of 2011. He worked at the head office branch as an associate and then a wealth advisor. Andrew is a second generation value investor. Lessons learned around the family dining table are the foundation of his investment knowledge. He graduated from Laurentian University in 1997 with a degree in history. Andrew holds the designation of Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). Andrew joined Fairbank Investment Management Limited in the summer of 2011. |
